Korean consumers spurn Apple iPod

Apple faces stiff competition in Korea’s music player market.

A survey by GfK Marketing Services Korea claims Apple lags behind rivals there.

Apple seized just 1.8 per cent of MP3 player market revenue in the first six months of 2005.

Local consumers are favouring local products from Samsung and ReignCom, a Yonhap News Agency report explains.
