Apple changes add funnel
Apple has “essentially” altered its sales process, the actual way it handles both funnel, and just how it provides items to promote, states Apple’s executive VP of worldwide sales and procedures, Tim Prepare.
Prepare told analysts: “The funnel remains necessary for us. Apple and also the funnel can win by leveraging each other peoples talents.
“Of particular importance are VARs (Useful Resellers) which are centered on music, because this is a brand new position for Apple, therefore we have put lots of energy into joining with music VARs.”

Prepare also addressed ipod device supply problems: “There’s enormous interest in the ipod device, and I am confident the amount we have folded into our target around the supply side is going to be met.”
