As reported through Yanko Design, Metatrend Media designers In-oh Yoo and Sun-woong Oh have developed a concept for which they hope would be the newest factor in smartphone/charger design. It is a combination charging station and make contact with in which the phone rests wide between two magnets within the charger throughout the charging process.

The idea, which may presumably switch the standard clock-radio adorning nightstands around the globe, would feature magnets that will suspend the telephone and make it spin whenever a call or SMS is available in. The content or caller identification could be displayed in three dimensional with an after-image effect.

The idea design just sign at this time. Having said that, I am unsure about science behind charging a tool suspended between magnets (maybe some crazy kind of inductive charging?), or if placing magnets near delicate phone electronics will be the best factor anyway, however that is not what’s me itching my mind probably the most relating to this idea.

Let us say it’s 3AM and that i have an emergency call. My hover-phone is hanging snugly in the space-age charger, spinning like mad to exhibit me in awesome three dimensional that something important goes lower. I achieve to get it and…well, how can i get it? It’s spinning quick enough to depart an after-picture of the screen within my vision! Whether it’s a pleasant heavy phone I am likely to hurt myself, and when it is a lightweight plastic device, I am likely to knock it of orbit and break it if this falls towards the floor. Hopefully substitutes are cheap.

Maybe whether they can allow it to be spin because it charges and prevent spinning whenever a call or SMS is available in? What is your opinion?
